E447 Chalet!!

Just returned back home from my CG Chalet a few hours ago.. It was a very enjoyable one to fellowship with my E447 friends. Lets start from Day 1 which was last Friday, 28th December 2007.

Day 1:

Met Kai Lin & her cousin, Roy, at the main entrance of Downtown East resort at about 2pm, and then we proceeded to check-in first and then went up to our room, 1835, in Block Hibiscus (H), to settle our stuffs there. After which we waited for Owen, Jia Yun & Li Min to arrive and then the 6 of us went to Escape Theme Park to have FUN!!!

First we went to Wet & Wild. It's pretty long queue and while queuing up, Jia Yun went to analyze whether the person that sit in front would get wetter or the back one. In the end, I just told her it's by "heng sway" one, because sometimes it's the person at the front who kena the most, sometimes it's at the back. Lolx.. For me, I tagged along with Jia Yun, and thankfully, it wasn't that scary for me, hence I never scream that much as compared to other rides.

Then, we went for the Pirate Ship which was like still pretty alright for me. By this time, Kai Lin went out to fetch the rest into the room since she has the key, while the rest of us continue to play first... The ulmost corner row was taken by Jia Yun, Roy and Li Min, while the row in front was taken by Owen and me... During the 'operation', I keep screaming when it was going downwards, and as the ship went further up, I screamed even louder when it started to swing downwards. After the ride, Jia Yun told me that she NEVER hear me scream at all, which Owen heard it very loudly... Lolx..

Next, we went to Daytona Gold Kart (adult side one). I must really say that my 1st ever Gold Kart ride that I had over there on that day was pretty shiok. I still think that it's still quite slow in terms of the speed... Lolx.. During the 2nd round (I supposed it's that round?), I managed to overtake a kart when going up the turning slope.. Feel like going for the Gold Kart again but we have waited close to 1 hour for that ba..

By then it's about like say... 6pm++, which I am going to explain why I feel so blessed when the clock hits 6pm.. Because.....

Inverter has been closed by that time!!! Me and Li Min do not need to be fearful anymore lo!!! (cos the rest were like wanting us to go for the Inverter but too bad... 6pm and the door is been shut off! Woohoo!!!)

Went for Rainbow after that as a form of 'substitution' for that Inverter... Lolx... Lucky that one is not 360 degrees one... Else.......... Haha... That one I also got scream, but not as bad as the Pirate Ship one... The feeling is very shiok when we were on top and the view of the surrounding is pretty nice... But... It would be better if it's night time, where all the lightings are up... ^_^

Since Haunted is situated very close to Rainbow, we decided to walk through it, and help Jia Yun to OVERCOME her fear... Muhahaha... Owen shall take the lead for most of the journey and the rest lead by me... Haha... Although I was also feel a bit scared, I find this like sort of 'no-kick' and wish to go for another round of it... Lolx..

Last of all, before we ended off our day at Escape Theme Park, we went to Flipper, but then due to rain, we have to stop all outdoor activities, and then we just walked out of the theme park just like that..... BUT.... as we stepped outside the theme park, the rain has stopped..!! But no choice, since we already went out and it's like 7:30pm++ which is close to the closing time (i.e 8pm), we just walked back to our chalet room to meet up with the rest of the CG friends who came. We ordered turkey and pizza for dinner and all of us had a wonderful dinner right inside the chalet, feeling very comfortable on the bed eating away...

After which we watched a very _________ movie which Quanhan bought the DVD/VCD... It's called "Cadaver". And after watching it, all of us felt that the movie ________________. Lolx... CG friends who watched it also, can help to fill in the blank in my tagboard ba... Lolx.. 1 blank can mean more than 1 word... Lolx.. Just to share my experience after watching it, hmmm... Lolx.. I admitted that I had quite a (scared) reaction for once or twice... And the part which has all the very "er xin/disgusting" stuff my eyeball also 'siam' one side... Lolx..

Mahjong session after that which I have brought it, and during this time, I went to take a bath and then joined in the game later on.. And after which we had some chit chat session before we knock off to bed, which is like about 4am++?? Lolx..

Day 2:

Woke up at about 8am++, and then just slacking around inside the room until about 9am++ whereby Kai Lin called my HP and 'summoned' some guys down to help her to carry the necessary stuffs needed for the steamboat which is on the 2nd day evening... Since only 2 guys were needed, Quanhan and me went down to help her to carry some of the stuffs, and then we went to the Popular bookstore to look out for something before we made our way back to the chalet.

After which, the whole lot of us in the chalet went down for breakfast cum lunch at the food court over there and then went back to our room to slack for a while before our CG meeting started at around 2pm.

Melody shared a lot with us for her Cambodia trip (together with Sin Yong), the journey, things that they did, photos and the best video that they took. After which the actual CG meeting started.

After the meeting finished, we slacked for a while more before started preparing for steamboat. Carried some equipment down to the 1st floor (the BBQ outdoor space), and to think that the weather had turned pretty bad, hence we carried those stuffs up to our room and decided to have the steamboat right outside our room. Lolx.. Since the steamboat was operated by 'mobile' gas, we did not need to worry much whether the extension wire that we brought was long enough or not etc etc..

Had a healthy steamboat with lots of vegetables and meats (and eggs too) for about an hour plus, and then some of us went down to Ben & Jerry to buy ice-cream, and all of those went back to our room except Raymond and me, where we were going to finish using the remaining amount of $ that was left in the card.

Went back to our room after that and for me I forced myself to sleep at about 10pm because next day I got to reach Expo early (7:30am) because of the 1st day of trial run for me in the ushering ministry.

Woke up at about 2am++ and then after that I couldn't sleep well. Since Hai Jie also couldn't sleep well, both of us decided to go to the beach nearest (which is Pasir Ris beach i think..??) the chalet, and we chit chat for a few hours until around 5am before we made our way back to our chalet, our room, as I need to bath early, go for breakfast early and reach Expo by 7:30am.

Day 3:

Had breakfast with Hai Jie, Quanhan and Jia Yun before I went off to take Service 12 to Expo.. At first I thought that I am going to be very late because I boarded the bus (SBS7329H, WAB) at about 7:15am and the bus captain told me that the journey is about 20 mins to half an hour. Upon reaching there, I reported to You Si, and from there, he guided me throughout the whole process and really explain quite a lot of things to me regarding how the preparation and everything works.. After which, 8:50am and the prayer meeting started. I was been stationed at Bravo terrace and then this was where the challenge started. People started rushing in and then keep wanting to book seats which I have to explain to them why is the row of seats not opened up etc etc... Overall it's a very challenging one as to how to deal with different types of situation whenever we were being questioned by the people regarding the booking of seats and insisted of wanting to take a particular row of seats... It's also pretty enjoyable for me to be an usher, and when You Si asked me the probability of joining, I give it 8 out of 10. When I was being put at a place for usher duty, I really feel that it's a great honor for me to serve our God and there is really a different for me between me standing with my CG friends, and standing at a place serving the ministry. The experience is very (3x) great for me!!

After service, went for sub zone meeting and there was the prize giving for the most _____ person (___ refers to different category such as courage, evangelist, cell group leader, etc etc..). For each category, there would be a nominee from each cell group, and I was quite surprise that I was being nominated (probably by Quanhan?) for the courage one.. Because courage refers to the person who really faced a lot of difficulties (which I did, and it's really very jia liak), especially with parental objections and breakthrough.. Despite of all these difficulties, I still have quite a strong faith in myself and hence up to now, I am still in my cell group and I do not give up no matter what...

After that we went to Airport staff canteen for lunch and fellowship before we made our way back home to rest and do our stuffs... And for me, I took Service 24 with You Si till Bedok area, then I transfered to Service 2 because it was just simply too packed, and I slept while I was taking Service 2 (WAB somemore, which made it even more comfortable for me to zzz..). Slept all the way till New Bridge Rd Terminal and then I transfer to Service 190 bendy bus, and continue to sleep somemore till I overslept, and have to transfer to Service 700A at Bt Panjang Interchange to get back home... This showed how tired I was at that point of time..

But once I got back home, the tiredness in me started to faded away... Lolx..

I shall post photos only after Raymond has sent me... Lolx..

RP Open House 2008 advertisment

These few days, whenever I have free time and the weather works well with me, I decided to go out around to snap some photos to add on to my collections, as when school reopens next year, I won't be that free anymore le... And hence, I have decided to hunt down all the 5 SMRT Buses which bear the ad that I have been wanting for... So far I left only 2 of them which I yet to snap it.. TIB1005M (Service 853) and TIB516L (Service 189)... The rest I have caught it on their perm services....

TIB546A (Service 700)

TIB831B (Service 961)

TIB842U (Service 187)

Basically, all the WLDEP side one I have completed it le... Left 1 from AMDEP and 1 from KJDEP side which I have to find time to go and snap it.. =)

Surprisingly, this time the RP Open House, they went around to mass advertise it on train and buses... I still remembered 1 month back when I was at Chinatown on Service 190, and I saw a advertisment which bears RP in it, and I was pretty surprised and at the same time, happy...

Christmas 2007!

Yeah... This year is the most meaningful and probably peaceful Christmas celebration that I ever had.. With 3 groups of friends, from W64R(current semester classmates), bus enthusiast, and E447(cell group).

=============================================

1st is the W64R... On 23rd December afternoon, most of the W64R friends went over to Lincoln's house for celebration.. Had a lot of fun there playing around with his 2 dogs at the 3rd floor, although I am sort of afraid of dogs.. Alsred, Shumin, XiaoWei, Hui Xian & her little cute son whose christian name the same as mine, and myself were inside 3rd floor sitting down, while Shiyang and Melissa were standing along the steps watching the dogs run around with Hui Xian's son (ok I called him as small Victor... Haha..)

After which Jessie, Xian Hao and some of them went down to prepare the BBQ stuff while the rest of them like me, Shiyang and Wendy etc etc... We stayed in Lincoln's room at 2nd floor to play Wii... Very fun especially the WWE part... Can play until our hands feel tired, and produce sweats too. It's as if we have just finished our gym workout inside the gym...

After a while, the rest of us went down too, and all of us eat and drink and talk cock.. And then we had our gift exchange... Happy that the present I bought was received by Winnie (through the counting numbers game... aiya don't know how to describe down here..), and mine I don't know who I received from.

After which when Lincoln's parents came back home, they were talking to some of us (excluding me at that time) about Christmas and some other stuffs, and I happened to be involved in the conversation as well when Melissa they all told his dad that I am from CHC... And then his dad started to talk more about CHC, the celebrations, drama and etc etc...

It's around 10pm++ and we went to Chomp Chomp for supper/dinner or to grab some food/drink/desserts there.. Shiyang, Xian Hao, Alsred and me decided to try this Wasabi popiah... And I only ate at the most of 2 slices (1st was try try and 2nd was sort of being persuaded to eat as there's a few slices left which none of the rest want to try...)

Besides that Wasabi popiah which makes me both high and more tired in the end, I also tried beancurd and have a drink of sugar cane, while the rest got tried some other good food there..

After everything's finished, most of us took Service 136 back to Ang Mo Kio Int and from there, some transfered to bus, some transfered to train... For me i took train as I am afraid that there's no more last bus when I transfered to another bus services along the way... (like service 171 along Bt Timah Rd and Mandai Rd)

Reached home at around 1am, have a quick bath and did all the usual computer stuffs before I knocked out to bed...

All in all, I had enjoyed all the fun time with my W64R friends, and this kind of spirit shall remain and not faded away.... ^_^

P.S: It's only from there that I know that the famous/well known R.K House is situated right opposite Chomp Chomp.. Lolx...

=============================================

2nd is my bus enthusiast friends.. On 24th December I went over to meet up with them after my night service ended at Expo.. It was rather a last minute thing as I got 2 groups of friends to decide which one I should go to. The other group of friends were Wei Kang, Jun Jie they all, whom they intended to stay overnight till next day morning, which I can't afford to do that because next day I still got service again at Expo in the morning.. Nevertheless, I still sent my Christmas greetings to them =)

Reached at the Merlion Park at around 2330hrs to meet up with them, and we sat down there and chit chat until around 12am where we made our way to Peninsula Plaza bus stop and some of them just snap photos of Nightrider and NiteOwl buses, while some of them like me, just stand aside and continue to chat.. XY sent his Christmas greetings to me through sms a few minutes after that (and I sent back mine to him of course... ^_^), and to our surprise, he came out of his church (St. Andrew Cathedral) and snap photos of buses at that bus stop as well. So all of us waved to him at the opposite side and he came to our side... Had a chat with XY and he told me that his service has just ended which is like "wow! so late..", but I believe that to him it's a very meaningful one..

We spent our night there until close to 3am when we made our way to the hotel at Raffles City Shopping Centre there, then some of them who brought gifts for gift exchange, would do do while me, XY and Wei Chuen were not prepared for it and we just watched them having the gift exchange.. =) After which, we proceed to Marina Square, hoping that MacDonald is a 24hr outlet for there, but in the end, it's not... and we continued to walk till 7-eleven store whereby some of them bought drinks etc and we made our way to Esplanade bus stop. That's when all of us dispersed from there and made our way back home, as all of us were very tired le.. For me and Wei Chuen we took 3N while the rest took other services...

Reached back home at around 4:30am, and have a short sleep from around 5:30am to around 8:30am when I am going to be late for the morning service at 9:30am, and in the end, I only went to the next service which is 12pm at Expo...

=============================================

Last but not least, my E447 friends... We went for the service at least once (for me I attended 4 out of the 5 services at Expo). It's a very meaningful one for me, especially the wonderful drama show being put up by our own CHC drama ministry people, and the lighting up of candles with the surrounding lightings off and sang the peaceful christmas song, Slient Night... I admitted that I almost cried right after the drama which was linked together well with the candle light part..

It's only at the 25th December that I went to fellowship with my E447 friends after the service as the rest of them I got to attend to my other groups of friends such as my classmates etc etc.. On the day I went to fellowship with them, we went over to Changi Airport staff canteen to have our lunch and chatted for a while after lunch... After which I got to meet up with my parents at Causeway Point, and hence I took Service 858 to Woodlands... Never did I expected that my parents called me along the journey, and told me that they ordered the KFC home delivery, and from Woodlands Regional Int, I took Service 966 back home..

=============================================

Some of the photos which I took it using my Nokia E65 phone which the camera's quality is very lousy... Okay... At least better than never snap any shots at all, as I find it very meaningful... If I took it using my 3 year old digital camera, it would have blur effect instead of only pixiliated..

Angry + Happy

Hey all, it has been quite some time since my last update..

Why angry? because I just got nagged by my mum a few minutes ago... Well, it is regarding my $$$ spending expenditure once again... Deep in my heart, I have rather mix feelings about it... It goes like this:

This December season I trying very hard to save up as much $$$ as possible through the daily allowance from my parents.. And then a few days ago I already told my mum that I need extra around $20 for present... And so, yesterday my mum did gave me $20, and that makes it about $30++ cash in hand.. And now I left around $20++ cash in hand (don't even need to talk about my bank account...... that's way beyond hopeless) and that excludes the present for my E447 friends' present.. What makes me even more angry is that she said that I spent over $30++ and left only around $10 which in fact she didn't check my wallet properly... Angry sia....!!!

Well... This makes me even having the temptation to even wanting to earn more $$$ and having bigger dreams... Why? Because I want to break free from the limitation of $$$, I want to own more things and more FREEDOM, more luxurious style of living.. By the age of 30 years, I don't want to see myself living in HDB (at least a condo with nice swimming pool and other facilities and with GOOD accessibility to other modes of transport such as train and buses) flat. That's the minimum expectation I going to set for myself.. I believe God will guide me through and fulfill my (minimum) dream as the year goes by.. (even thought it will be slow as I'm still a student now..)

Okay... That's aside for the angry matter...

Yesterday, some of W64R people went to Lincoln's house for X-mas celebration, as his house is very very big lo... 3 stories high... Very nice... Went up to 3rd floor to see his 2 cute little dog... 1 by the name of Happy and another one by the name of Rascal... Lolx.. Guess what, Hui Xian's little son (whose christian name also the same as mine..) was so daring that he even play around and trying to kick the dog and chase here and there... Whereas at least for me, Shiyang and Melissa were afraid of dog... In the end I still went in and just sit down with the rest (i.e Shumin, Xiao Wei, Hui Xian and Alsred)

After that went down to 2nd level to his room to play Wii... Very fun indeed, and by playing the WWE game, I can produce sweat within me... It's just like someone has just went to a air-con gym and exercise..

After that was BBQ and then gift exchange whereby all of us exchange our gifts... The present I bought was been received by Winnie and I got a mug in return from dunno who... Lolx.. Hope Winnie like the gift from me ba... ^_^

As both of Lincoln's parents are from CHC as well, and hence, his dad really said a lot of things to me, and even to the extent that he really hope and want me to set up a CG and hold CG meeting at his house, which I was like wth lo, as I told him that I joined CHC not long ago and I am not fit to be a CG leader...

After which, all of us left and a few went back home while the rest went to Chomp Chomp to grab something to eat/drink... And now then I know that the famous R.K House is just right opposite Chomp Chomp... Lolx.. should not say anything much about the R.K House... You know, I know, everyone know, can already... =D

Shiyang, Alsred and XianHao was intending to go for the Wasabi popiah and for me as a person who don't consume Wasabi and spicy food, decided to go for a try with them as well... When I try for the 1st time, my facial expression was like !@#$%^&*() lo... Lolx.. And told them that the rest they can finish it all.. =D In the end i still have to finish another slice as the rest other than 4 of us didn't want to try try, especially Winnie.. Lolx.. The beancurd that some of us order, some say nice, some say weird... And also some other dishes which some of us order... For mine was only beancurd, that wasabi thingy and sugar cane drink..

Took service 136 to AMK and train back home after that... Tiring but fun day indeed... =)

Shall stop here and proceed to my lunch le... Blog some day when I free! Cya all and Merry X-mas!!!

Hectic Schedule...

Lately, it has been a hectic schedule for me.. As everyone knows, Christmas is coming very soon, and this season has been a busy one for me (instead of the past few years where I was too free.. Except the night of 24th Dec of course..) as I am celebrating Christmas this year...

22th, 23th and 25th December I have my church Christmas service, 24th December night I have my Sec 5N gathering cum celebration at Orchard area once again.. 23th December I also have my current semester poly friends' (W64R) celebration at Lincoln's House at 3pm which I may not be able to make it because i may need to serve in my church ministry too.. 29th December most likely will have Thanksgiving Day with my E447 friends.. 29th December also somehow clash with Darren's birthday... That really makes me have very little time to really pursue my own interests..

3 weeks of vacation break is seriously not enough..!! Hence I choose not to work during this 3-weeks vacation break... Perhaps the next coming 2 months ++ break I will really want to find a non-F&B part-timer job so that at least I can buy some of the stuffs that I really wanted for, plus also clear debts if it's still not cleared by then (which is around February)

Now... I still owe Kai Lin $12, and I still need to settle this month's tithes and building fund which I have already pledged. Moreover, I still have not bought any Christmas presents... At least by tomorrow or Friday when I have the free time, I will just walk walk around some of the shops especially around town area, and see what I can buy, which is not too expensive, at least to buy for my E447 friends...

I really want to pray and have faith in God that He will really provide me with financial blessing, and hope that I will be able to go through this tough time, for He will lead the way through...

1 last thing before I end this entry and go sleep, is that I really hope that that person which I mentioned in my blog for the past 2 entries (I shall not mention his name to maintain privacy, neither should anyone mentioned it in my tagboard), will really change for the better... I do wonder how's the stuff going on for him for these few days... It's not that all of us here really wish to treat you in a nasty way, but... as long you are willing to change for the better, and really execute it according to his promise, I believe at least some of us here (like me and Terence) would have a different impression of you, that you are really a changed person for the better, and we will treat you back to how we treated you for the 1st few times each of us met you... I do really wonder.... When is the day that he really fulfilled his promises to change for the better and we will be able to treat him better as a friend... =) Pray that this day shall come to a past....

God bless....

Refering to a particular person... (Within bus enthusiast's community)

Well, it's not that I really want to treat you this way.... But, you ought to really do a self reflection for why all of us here treated you that way.... All the attitude and behaviour that you portrayed to all of us within the bus enthusiast's community.. Think back... During the Mk 2 tour, why did some of the seniors have to scold you right at the spot at the National Stadium Carpark 'F' during taking photograph session.. And also think back... Why did all of a sudden, we stopped sending photos to you... Sometimes.... All of us here must say that you really went overboard... Must it be ALL or MOST of our photos (at least for MINE), must be in your Fotopic? Although you did put a SIDE note and claim my copyright name..

CONTROL, REFLECT and CHANGE are the keywords....

So much so that I really pray to the God that you will really change all these from worst to good, and why did I even cried during yesterday's service during the alter call?

Why... why... why.....???

Set aside a quiet time... To really concentrate and reflect, for all the things that you done in the past, that makes all of us feeling so pissed off but we never show it out till now?

P.S: Anyone try to be funny with my tagboard (for this entry) I will delete all the comments the person make... No hestitation and I will DO THAT...

Great Weekend!

Yeah! Although for the past few days my mood isn't that good, this weekend is really a great one for me...

Saturday morning went to Punggol Int to meet up with the big group of bus enthusiasts for the Volvo B10M Mark 2 Farewell Tour.. Quite a long time since the last meetup I have with Kenny, Bing He and the group.. Well.. Had a lot of fun down there... Shall not elaborate any further cos it will be a damn long story.... Just that.... Some people just like to spoil the whole show, that makes all of us here having the 'black face' (which simply means in a bad mood), and that includes me as well. Although that person is 1 of my juniors I have, but he has a lot of bad points which I really want to find a day and just talk to him face-to-face with some of my other friends such as Bing He, Kenny and Terence.

After that, some of them came to my house to look look see see, and after that at about 5pm++, I had to rush off for my IGNITED camp (Sub-zone cell group camp).. Although I only spent lesser time there (instead of the full day from morning), I still managed to stay for the overnight and went with them the next day for service by a chartered bus... (Thankfully it's not SMRT buses cos usually CHC chartered uses SMRT buses...)

[I will blog more about the camp thing tomorrow night when I finish the DOTA competition in RP]

During service, I went down for the alter call again, for a total of 3 times so far le... (1st time was when Raymond invited me in, 2nd time was a minor sin which I have confessed, and 3rd one... It's a very long story too...) Just before I went down for the alter call, I really cried out from my heart and this is the 1st time my tears really dropped down until quite bad... Quanhan (my CG leader) went down with me for the alter call and Pastor Kong prayed for all of us... Today's service is really damn meaningful for me....

After service and the IGNITED camp debrief, I went to Orchard together with some of my CG friends for lunch (Pepper Lunch).. Really wish to thank Kai Lin and Jia Yun for helping me to pay for the lunch as I really finish spending all the $$$ that I had... Even in my POSB account, there isn't any much savings left... After that went to accompany the girls for shopping at Takashimaya and Far East Plaza for a while before I went back home for dinner and DOTA training for tomorrow's competition..

Okay... I shall stop blogging for now le and continuing with the DOTA training... So far for both rounds just now using AI mode, it has been a positive one for all of us...

===================================

and I really want to thank and pray to the God for providing me with the blessings and the power & strength to carry on training, as all of us here really wanting to move from glory to glory, and to overcome all the fearfulness that I have, especially for tomorrow when the actual competition begins... In Jesus name i pray... Amen......

May God bless me!!

Deserted....

It is so damn much different in class as compared to other days... It's like that kind of feelings and spirit isn't there anymore le... Today in class during breakout it's damn damn peaceful and quiet... Quiet till the extent that it seems very deserted to me...

Quite a lot of my class people pon class today... Guys side, only me, Minthu, Rafi, ZhengChuan and Lincoln turned up today... Girls side, only Hui Xian, Angela, XiaoWei, ShuMin, Azima, Huili and Minli turn up today.. About 12 people turned up only... Sigh...

These few days, things keep getting and going through in my mind, especially related to W64R... At times, I do wonder, whether in my W64R friends' heart, I am being a out-casted by some of them (especially for all those who never come for lesson today..), whether am I being a hatred person to them, or whether am I been backstabbed or betrayed (not in the fun type but in a very serious matter).. I really really hope that all these would not happen to me... Even if it's so, I rather they just tell my straight through heart-to-heart talk, so at least I won't be feeling so damn negative, and moreover, I am not the type of person when my friends said me bad or negative things and then I just break off the friendship ties...

Till then I shall just stop here and give myself a break... Somehow I just feel very restless and tired, and don't wish to do anything right now...

3:05 PM

Relieved..

Now.. Time is 3:33pm when I wrote this sentence... Hmm... Back to blogging after lunch at Bt Merah..

Well... At least now I feel much more better as compared to this morning.. Some of my friends asked me why I never come or skip school today... For a simple reason, I was rather feeling very down this morning (or in fact, since last night) and I ended up myself at National Library since about 10am (with lunch in between which I went to Bt Merah Int to settle it) and now I still at there, Level 11..

For the past week, it has been a very fun time for me, especially for XiaoWei's birthday with W64R friends at RP Sports Complex... ^^ And next coming weekend shall be a very great and fun time for me... 1st is my bus hobby one (which I can't say it out here cos this is by invitation only and NOT all of them are invited). 2nd is my church sub-zone camp (called IGINTION) which is at St Andrew Junior Sch.. And this coming Christmas season I will be celebrating with both my W64R friends (at Lincoln's house tentatively) and my church one, but on different days... Hmmm... I must really save save and save up more $$$ so that i got more $$$ to share my joy with my friends...

Next Monday/Tuesday comes the RP Gaming League, which Alsred, Shiyang, Irvin, Rafi, and myself, will take part in it as a team.. Well.. Our main objective to go there is to really get the experience in compete against people that we don't know of, and really, all of us need to train more, ESPECIALLY MYSELF, which has just started playing quite recently, and until now I am still damn noob and I have to train up even more...!!!

Hmmm... Yesterday before my church service, YouSi came to me and asked me if I wish to serve the ministry as Ushers as they are really lacking of people (cos West CG zone people went back to Jurong West for the newly 3rd service (1st 2 services are at Expo...)).. So I was like hmm okay, and he helped me to fill up the form, as they are having recruiting campaigns, and also since there is a choice for us to have a trial run first, I opted for the trial run... =) To test myself to see whether I can wake up very early EVERY Sunday morning.. (Means I have to wake up by 5:20am, take 1st Service 966 bus at about 6am, and transfer to MRT and reach Expo by around 7am)..

Also yesterday in the afternoon after fellowship with my fellow CG friends, I went to the usual spot (near SMU) to snap some photos, since I was rather very free till evening when I went to Lot 1 (CCK) to meet up with my family for dinner.. Snap for a while, and I saw this same bendy (TIB1001Z) on Service 700A... Last year December this bendy on Service 700A, this year the same bendy again.. Advertisment wise also all related to Traffic Awareness.. For a moment, I was feeling very blessed that God really gave me a very rare gift (cameo), and this only happened during the christmas season which is December... And I didn't expected it to be the same bendy bus (TIB1001Z)... What I was even blessed was that it even made another trip (which is the last trip) to Suntec City again and back to Bt Panjang before it went Off Service back to Woodlands Depot (as it's on TQ shift, Duty 700TQ01).. Inside that bus I also really praying very hard that I would be able to snap it with the just nice weather (not bright nor dark, not sunny nor rainy).. And really, it's like before and after I snap it, it rained, but on that point of the I snap it, it never rain!! PRAISE THE LORD for that!!!

Year 2006 December:

Year 2007 December:

1 last thing I really wish to say is really I wish to thank Melody for her small Oreo packet with the mini card that she wrote for me.. And after I read the mini card, I was pretty touched by the encouragement that she gave me, and no matter what happens to me, I will still place my trust and have faith in God, for all things are made possible by Him... ^_^

Okay... I shall stop blogging for now le ba... Need some break time off and do some leisure things to relax myself... Till then I shall blog again when I free..

God bless...

10:26 AM

Feeling down..

It's 10:45am and I am sitting in Level 11 of National Library to blog instead of of going to school for SAD lesson.. Don't know why but I just don't have the mood to go for this SAD lesson.. Just don't know why but SAD module really makes me feel demoralized with this Wee Kah Huat aka Shrek.. (Web Application also like that with this damn gay faci by the name of Hong Kok Hsien..)

Last Saturday, my mum was asking if tomorrow (which is yesterday, Sunday) i got Wushu training.. Then I said no and they she asked me to go with them to the temple to bai(4) tai(4) shui(4).. And then I told them that I am not free because I got my usual "gathering" (which is fact is to go for service at Expo), and the next thing my mum started to have the 'bu(4) shuang(3), which is not happy' face liao.. She then scolded a bit before she went off my bedroom.

After which, I talked to Owen on MSN as I was rather very panic and a bit of fear.. and he asked me not to be fearful and really have to have faith in God that He would be able to help me through and overcome it.. Just before I went off to bed, I had my own quiet time and really pray very hard for the coming breakthrough..

The next day came (yesterday, Sunday) and when I went down to have breakfast with my parents, at least they never scolded me and just asked me to go listen ONLY and not to really be involved in it.. (which obviously I am not like that only!!)...

Perhaps my parents still haven really agreed to me for being a Christian, and still regarded my religion as Buddhist... Well.. Really they do need a lot of time to really settle down to accept the fact that I have decided to become a Christian...

Just don't know why.. But some (or in fact, most) parents really are very stubborn and they tend to just follow law-by-law (as in the fact that they just follow their parents' religion and claimed that it's a tradition to do that..) And i just HATE HATE HATE that way!!!

It's like we as individuals were not given a choice as in whether what religion we choose to REALLY (I strongly emphasize the word 'REALLY') believe in.. All of us live in this world only ONCE, and we should really decide our own life path instead of just follow strictly from our parents when they have already set a certain rules for us... We should really choose the kind of life that we really want to lead, and REALLY live our life to the fullest.. NOT FEELING RESTRICTED BECAUSE OF PARENTS, GRANDPARENTS, PARENTS, GRANDPARENTS, PARENTS, GRANDPARENTS, PARENTS and GRANDPARENTS... (Notice I keep repeating that 2 words..)

Hmmm... I guess... For the coming few months and even years, I have to really pray very hard for the breakthrough for my parents, for they will be more understanding and not asking me to go to temple anymore.. and a lot more lot more....

====================================

Next... Is my financial needs...

Yesterday night, my mum scolded me like hell for not saving up $1 everyday (as in really put inside the saving box and not taking it out) when she wanted me to do that... Yes... I admit that I never do that.. But... It's because of the daily expenses (although I have cut down a lot because I have made the effort to go home for dinner as much as possible, instead of having dinner outside almost everyday), my tithes and offerings that I have contributed and given to the God, and also the building fund for a 2nd and state-of-the-art stadium style grand church (which is going to be the 2nd largest church building in South East Asia)..

Plus... The upcoming Christmas and Thanksgiving season which I really need to spend $$$ to really have the heart and buy things which can be shared among a lot of people.. (and i still haven thought of what thing to buy because I still do not have any idea what to buy.. have to really pray to the God for giving me some ideas as to what to buy and share..)

I guess.. By end of this year, I have really spent quite a lot of $$$, especially with all my W64R friends and all my E447 CG friends.. Although it's really the 'a lot of money', but I still find it very worth it, and it's really a blessing from the God to provide me such a very sociable and friendly class and CG...

Awaiting for the upcoming Year 2008 and very soon I will come up with my Year 2008 resolutions which I am going to write it on the left hand side of my blog where all the personal profile, tagboard and links are... =)

====================================

Well.. time now is 11:59am when I write this sentence.. Time for me to go for lunch soon, and I really have to settle my lunch before it started to rain as the clouds are partially gray le.. Shall blog again later when I am back in National Library..

Long update...

Yea... Quite a few weeks since my last proper update... And as usual I am going to cut everything short and try to let the photos explain as much as possible..

For the past few weeks, I really enjoy myself being together with my W64R friends (Jessie said friends and classmates cannot be associated, haha...) and also for The Contender Ultimate Team Republic Challenge 2007 with Rafi, Yan Hui and Diana, and also not forgetting my usual weekends meetings and services with E447 friends..

====================================

Celebrated 3 of my W64R friends' birthday... First was Gary (the safest celebration among all 3 of them), and then was Jessie, and last of all, the most jia liak one, who is none other than Wendy... Haha...

I shall not say so much and post the photos below lo... Lolx..

---------------------------------------------------

Shall start with Gary's birthday (The safest and the most peaceful and the cleanest among the 3 of them... Haha)

W64R guys (Attendance for that day is poor and hence only the few guys were there... Haha)

So fortunate for the birthday guy to be surrounded with W64R gals.. ^_^

---------------------------------------------------

Okay... Next is Jessie's birthday... As you can see that the birthday gal's face was filled with the wonderful cake that some of us did to her...

W64R friends with birthday girl ^^

Here comes the fun!! (Randomly posted)

---------------------------------------------------

Last of all, Wendy's birthday.. This time, the most jia liak one... 1st thing is instead of the usual cake smash, we made use of some baby food + floor and mix it together into small little bags... Also together with some water bombs which helps to "clean" away the smell and mark of the baby food + floor.. Haha...

W64R gals with the birthday gal..

The 3 main victim of the "war" at the haven't opened new canteen...

Wendy

Xiao Wei (the upcoming next birthday coming up)

And the following one, Melissa.

I also don't know why at first I ran away with her while the "war" is going on... We ran to the Agora Hall where all the PP evaluations are done there as it's very peaceful and quiet.. And then later go out the other end and went a big round back to the "war" area.. Haha... Machiam like playing CS, just that this one is live version..

Her cake

And "post-war" in class as Melissa wanted to take revenge back to them by using soap... Haha... What a strategy indeed... :-P

While the revenge is going on, XianHao and QianHui wanted to snap this shot as a memorable event having both Mel and Gary as the background...

====================================

Occasionally, W64R do have small small little outing which really makes us being so bonded together, even to the extent that we could have heart-to-heart talks which usually I only do that to all my close friends in Secondary school and Yan Hui (my Yr 1 Sem 1 good buddy)

The 6 of us who went to Changi Airport T3 on 21th November 2007

The rest, most of the time, Xiao Hao was the photographer for the day, hence his face was not inside... Lolx..

And some random shots..

Last Sunday, I went with some of them to SITEX at Expo Hall 5 & 6 after my morning service at Expo Hall 8 (which is just about 2 halls away).. Woke up quite late (8:30am) and hence had to bath very quickly and rush down for breakfast with my parents and I took cab (20 mins journey) straight down to Expo Hall 8 cos I have to reach there by 9:20am.. Service has been pushed forward from 10am to 9:30am due to the 3rd English service at Jurong West at 12pm.. In the end, a lot of people asking me how come I wear so formal, and I told them that it's because of time rushing and the fact that I just grab any long sleeve shirt inside my wardrobe (as I no time to take out my jacket..) Owen came to say that I should wear more of this next time and I was like "hmmm.... okay...." Haha...

After service, had my sub-zone camp meeting and I took train to Tampines to meet up with the rest (Lincoln, Gary, Mel, XH [XianHao], Wendy, Winnie, Jessie and BQH [Qian Hui]) at Tampines Mall, and after which took train back to Expo to walk around for this SITEX show.. At first I went in with the intention of just merely looking around, in the end, me and Mel was attracted by this small white speaker which cost only $6. Although it's brandless, but..... $6 lehz... Where on earth can I find such a cheap speaker which functions something like those Creative speakers which cost >$40++?!?

Most of them also brought some small little gadgets, while Gary bought a LCD computer monitor which cost >$600 + some other gadgets..

What makes me felt ________ is that instead of the normal English pop or techno songs that were being played inside Hall 5/6, Indian songs were played instead... And I was like "oh well... damn unique & _______" Haha... Don't wish to make it a racist one hence the blanks... Haha... This is the 1st time I ever went in to a exhibition which plays Indian songs... Haha... Looks like Indian pop is the next IN thing... Haha... =D

After which while Wendy had to rush off to meet her friends at Holland V and BQH still queuing for something inside SITEX, the rest of us went to Airport MacDonald to have our dinner and also to wait for BQH to come.. Had some chatting session over there although they all keep saying that I'm too quiet (which in fact sad to say, I am really like that...).. Settled at Airport till about 6pm++ before we took train back home...

====================================

Just yesterday evening, Shiyang, Alsred and me, decided to went down to Geylang for dinner (before that went to Funan IT Mall cos Alsred went to collect his laptop..) After we finished our dinner, we went to walk around there and really I got my 1st experience in walking around that area (not only the main road i.e Sims Ave and Geylang Rd of course...) All the way my strong mindset is that I got to control it no matter what happened, and I really managed to successful control it... Haha.. Really nice lo the experience... Before we headed back home, we have a good "dessert" at the Rochor Beancurd which I first went in to buy for last year RP Amazing Race (December 2006, refer to my archive links if u wanna read up more.. Haha)..

Home sweet home after that ^_^

====================================

Last of all, The Contender Ultimate Team Republic Challenge 2007!!! Which is last Friday evening... From 6pm to 9pm..

We had a lot of fun time over there... Take up quite a number of challenges and some of it were really our 1st time, such as the Kayaking one for Yan Hui..

We only managed to complete 15 out of the total 25 stations due to time constraint (total duration for all the challenges is only 2 hours!! NOT ENOUGH TIME!!!) 2 more completed one I forgot which station name le...

Before the challenge start, all of us have to get wet inside the wading pool, and eventually after this whole race, all our socks and shoes are WET and for the next few days I could not wear it cos I have to let it dry first..

Had some refreshments after the challenge and then instead of staying at the gallery to watch all the nonsense stuff, we went to have a bath and then slack down there at the ground level to wait for 9pm to strike and collect our snap shot photo before we headed to Causeway Point for dinner and back home after that...

Overall I must say that it's a very nice experience, and for the upcoming challenges we will be taking part... Haha..

Dynamic 4 - My team name... Haha... Don't know who suggested this name de horz?

At the snap shot station:

====================================

With that, I shall finally end this very loooong blog entry le ba.... Haha... This is the result of not blogging for so long... (Due to my laptop kena virus and the upgrade from XP to Vista... Woohoo... And also almost daily night gaming which cause me to feel too tired to blog... Haha..)
