Screw up the ex-Metro CEO, Mdm Saw Piak Hwa..

Before I even want to blog about my work or my past few months' event, the ever 1st word I want to say it out from my mouth is....

IDIOT!!

No offense, but this is what I want to say 1st about SMRT...

Last week I wrote this to ST Forum, hoping that it will publish but turned out it reject my letter due to the same old excuse of 70 letters per day they received.. -_-"

Subject title: SMRT Buses should allow commuters to board from the exit doors

Letter goes this way:

As a regular commuter of Service 190 and 960, I experience a very long waiting time to be able to board the bus of the abovementioned 2 services back to Choa Chu Kang and Woodlands from Whitley Rd at night time (after 9pm). It is not because it took a long time for the buses to arrive, but the fact that almost every single bus that pass by the bus stop along Whitley Rd is fully packed with commuters and it does make the commuters waiting at that bus stop feeling very frustrated.

From what I noticed, for Fridays and Saturdays, even the last bus of Service 190 towards Choa Chu Kang is fully packed with commuters by the time it reached Far East Plaza, hence the remaining commuters who were not able to board the last bus, have to take NR3 instead which will cost them a lot more money in terms of bus fare, and I seriously think that these commuters should not deserve the fare of a NR service.

I can understand that sometimes it is because some inconsiderate commuters do not move to the rear to allow more commuters to board. In this case, SMRT Buses should seriously consider to allow commuters to board from the exit door instead if they wanted to maximising their profit to the maximum.

Nevertheless, the majority problem still came from the deployment and the frequency of these services. While SMRT Buses focus a lot of maximising their profit to the fullest, I really hope that this will not neglected their frequency and hence cause a lot of frustrations among the regular commuters of these service.

In the end, this is the typical excuse I got from ST Forum:

Thank you for writing to us. We do appreciate your making the effort.

We receive up to 70 letters each day. Limited space means we can publish only about a dozen every weekday.
This means having to make often-difficult editorial judgments on which letters to publish.

We regret we are unable to publish your letter.

If your letter relates to a matter under the purview of a government department, you may want to visit
www.sgdi.gov.sg for a list of officials to contact.

Yours sincerely

Ok I want to blog about my work le... Enough of all these things which gonna make me have more heart attack..

And before I end this entry, what I wish to say to all my friends who live in SBST territory areas such as Bishan, Hougang & Tampines, you guys ought to be GRATEFUL and FORTUNATE to have SBS Transit services serving your neighborhood area..

Unfortunate people like me and those who live in SMRT Territory areas especially Woodlands, Bt Panjang and Choa Chu Kang, good luck to all of us here with the ex-Metro CEO being in this transport industry, and screwed up its buses and train services, especially in the area of buses.. Be grateful that you are able to squeeze onto a SMRT bus especially Service 190 and 960..
