Say a big NONO to SMRT Buses!!

These days, other than my work, martial arts training, bus spotting, meeting with friends, I also have a set of task to do, which is to...

SHOOTING E-MAILS TO SMRT BUSES!!!

Damn sickening.. Everyday have to LIVE with this useless SMRT Buses transportation system.. Long waiting time, cannot squeeze into the bus (bendy bus somemore!!), poor conditions of the buses they have, extremely poor deployments they have... These are some of the things which the residents residing in Bt Panjang, Choa Chu Kang, Yew Tee (especially), Woodlands (not too bad because of SBST service 161 and 168), Sembawang (pretty bad) and Bt Batok (not too bad because there's SBST Service 66, 157, 174, Express 506) suffering everyday.

For the past few weeks, I wrote a e-mail to SMRT Buses (cc to Public Transport Council, PTC in short) regarding Service 184 frequency for Sundays and Public Holidays and I have requested them to put up the timetable at every bus stop which Service 184 plys because of the quoting of a rule from PTC website that bus services with 20 minutes or more are required to put up timetables for that. In the end, wait for about 3 weeks le and still no reply.. Basically SMRT Buses's reply are all STANDARD in format one.. Write until so nice but in the end, ...... -_- *toot*

And for the past 1 week or so, I also wrote a e-mail to SMRT Buses (cc to PTC and also SBS Transit). This time the e-mail is really damn serious and fierce.. SMRT Buses seem to be treating this as "lalalala" and not doing something to it, hence I have to cc to SBS Transit also, having to seek for their consideration to take over SMRT Buses for the public bus services in Singapore. I shall give them another few more days before my tolerance and mood level is really damn low and I will just either write a e-mail to SBS Transit (cc to PTC and SMRT Buses), or worst come to worst, make a trip down to BRAM to have a good talk with SBS Transit especially with issues regarding to Service 190 under SMRT Buses control, and that's if I feel that SMRT Buses is just way too beyond hope (无可救药) le...

My chinese letter regarding Service 190 also came out in Zao Bao (ZB) chinese newspaper, under ZB lun yan (forum in chinese)..

Please click on it and see it for yourself..

Okay.. A translation for the non-malays for 1st paragraph:
Ever since SMRT took over SBS Transit for Service 190, the writer (me of course!!) find out that the bus fleets for Service 190 has been decreasing, but the demand for passengers is still pretty high. This caused some of the residents residing in Choa Chu Kang not being able to board Service 190 back home on time.

2nd paragraph, I talked about Service NR3 having to loop at North Canal Rd. Actually, I also don't know why i wrote that, but ZB already contacted me through phone and I told them le... They asked me to contact SMRT Buses to explain to them everything about Service 190 thing, which I have done so..

When she mentioned that 5 minutes frequency for Service 190 for peak hours is VERY FAST, I shoot her back that 5 minutes is WAY TOO SLOW given such a high demand Service 190 has.. 1 fine day I just feel like calling her through the phone again and shoot back her some more things, and saying more sarcastic remarks which is really talking about facts!! Grrr..

Seriously speaking, I just feel like moving house.. Move to Hougang the best, more interesting and better transportation network down there.. Bt Panjang.. Dunno why they go and build the stupid LRT, and then causing bus service rationalisation here and there, causing more inconvenience here and there. That's why I don't want to work in Bt Panjang for The Cafe Cartel.. Everyday have to face the anger for SMRT Buses services.. See all the buses in red livery my mood also getting hotter each day as the day goes by.. And this is the reason why I have been avoiding SMRT Buses territory everyday, most of the time even till night. You will most probably spot me in either the Eastern or the North-Eastern side of Singapore.. -_-

My ultimate mission: To make sure on this day 1 year later, SBS Transit will take control of Singapore's public bus transport and there will not be such thing called SMRT Buses.
