Continued from previous postHmm yea.. Time now when i write this 1st sentence is 12:22am. Time really flies very fast.. 1 academic year in RP is going to end very soon just like that.. A lot of things happening around us, until i don't really know what to say..
Just now during the 3rd meeting (presentation), i was not really focused on both our team and other teams' presentation because i was busying blogging away. That Cedric Tan even commented that "so focused in my blogging.. if only you could be as focused for my lesson... ". IN my mind i was thinking that "ah, wait long long.. i just can't wait to end this G104 Culture module man.." This time i sure get a C from him again lo.. Haiz.. I think my grades for this Culture module is going to flung.. Now my predicted grade for this module is D+.. I just merely want to get through with this module so that i do not need to worry anything in Year 2 about this kind of module which is not related to my Business Computing course.
Hmm.. This coming holiday, besides going back to school on some days for some school or IG activities, i also do wish to set aside some days for preparing with this module called "Professional Profiling", or "PP" in short. This idea actually came from hS when i also think that i should also set aside some days to settle at least a bit for PP.
Hmm.. I actually find this module pretty interesting, in a sense that all of us have to go all the way to the company or industry that we choose and interview them about their company, and we have to do up a presentation on that. Got a lot of things have to interview the people there. So, if you happen to see me in school wear very formal wear, don't feel shocked. This is because i like the feeling of dressing myself in a very formal wear when i'm doing some things seriously. I believe that by doing that, it also create some sort of motivation for me to be serious in my work, and also to discipline and train myself to be serious and professional whenever i do such kind of stuffs or work. Some people think that i'm more to IT-orientated kind of person, (people like my parents) when i have to admit that i'm more to Business-orientated kind of person. My parents always wanted me and hoping me to go on to IT sector because i have a better interest over there rather than some other sectors such as Business and Science. Actually i chose this diploma in this poly as my 3rd choice is because of Business, and not IT. To me, I learn IT is because i wanted to gain extra knowledges, and not because it's my core interest, as my core interest is Business instead.
Exploring to IT world, everyday we have to face the computer screen for a long period of time, which i don't think it's really do anything good to our eyes. Imagine, even if I feel stressed in this IT world, i'm still facing the computer screens, which can make my head and brain feel very uncomfortable.
Exploring to Business world, I can get to explore the various aspects of business, and get to learn more from different types of business. I find it very interesting to explore more about business. =) And i also do not need to face the computer screen for a long period of time each day and do not need to deal with computers pretty often as compared to IT world. In business, we get to meet our clients, our customers, our business partners, etc etc. We get to communicate with one another and build relations, exchange informations and get to learn from one another. At the same time, it also enforces us to dress in a very smart and formal attire because we have to show and give a good impression to our clients, our customers, our business partners, that we are very serious in our work and to protray ourselves to do things very professionally so as to earn other people's respect.
Time now when i write this sentence is 1:04am, before i ending this blog entry, i'm going to post a bus photo which i caught it just now in the evening at Tampines. Take care guys and gals (especially for those who's going to fall sick very soon) =) Cya!!~
