Things revolving around me....Lately, lots of things are revolving around and within me, to the extent that negative stuff > positive stuff.. It happens from my bus enthusiast community (both juniors & seniors), to my school (RP), and even around the world also (especially Asia for the past few weeks till now)..
During the DG (Discipleship Group) meeting yesterday with a few students (guys in CCC) plus Jacob (who is our head/advisor for CCC) at a small secret meeting room in the school.. 1st of all I wanna thank Jacob for inviting me down to DG meeting (whom he got to know it when Qiu Yun told him that I am interested in the DG as well... Thanks Qiu Yun also!). In yesterday's DG meeting, Jacob talked about the 3 types of calling, which indeed lead us to really think through what is our level of calling right now, and how to proceed on to a higher level... He also mentioned about the whole of Psalms 90..
In verse 10, it says that:
"The length of our days is seventy years— or eighty, if we have the strength;
yet their span is but trouble and sorrow, for they quickly pass, and we fly away"
We don't live in this world just to enjoy our life.. All of us here bound to encounter any troubles and sorrow somewhere in our walk of life, and it's through this that God really lead us to walk though it and overcome it as well... As what I have mentioned in my blog months or years ago, that life is never easy for all of us living in this world, but thank God that whenever I faced all the troubles and sorrow and even any trials and obstacles, that He will always be by my side, to walk with me together and overcome it...
Our walk of life, is never always smooth, and is never always peaceful..
In verse 12, it says that:
"Teach us to number our days aright, that we may gain a heart of wisdom."
In a sense it's very true for me.. Life is always too short for all of us here, and hence, we have to really live life to the fullest, and not having to stick onto a certain troubles or any difficulties, and not go forth to solve it, to overcome it... Sad to say, some of us here have failed to achieve this point.. In Buses@SgForums, I can already see very clearly... Every single week or even day, I have never failed to see any person either trying to create troubles/flamings, or continuing to make the troubles/flamings go even worst... I believe this is not the way that we should lead our life, and at times, when we lack a heart of wisdom in this area, some of us tend to do such things..
This evening, I am going to meet up with Ben and Isaac (Wilcent may join us as well if he's free) for dinner at Bedok, and after that, to share our troubles or problems which happened around and within us, and closing off with prayer as well, because the main objective of the meet up tonight is for prayer.. It's when I feel that there is a urgent need for us to gather together as brother-in-Christ and pray for one another.. Too many things have been happening around and within every single one of us here, and there is really an urgent need to seek God for His help, directions, and blessing as well...
Okay... time for me to have my breakfast and busy my own stuff...
