Easter (events)

So much so for blogging about the meaning behind this important day for all Christians, let me blog about the events that was going on for the past 3 days from Friday to Sunday..

Friday:

Reached Expo at around 10:15am (late by 15 minutes), in the end the people there say the support activity was canceled, and I went to Jack's house to borrow his Canon A510 camera because I really wish to snap the last few moments of Scanias on Service 75, 700/700A and 970, Lance on Service 852 and 859, & DAFs on Service 173 (no luck for that) before the massive SMRT Redeployment started..

Reached back Expo around close to 2pm (late by half an hour), and really so happy that I got to the internal traffic section for the 2nd time, which somehow or rather, I like doing internal traffic more than the zone sector..

First service at Expo started at 4pm. It's the first time I am really celebrating this important day plus somemore first time I serving in the ministry for such a very important event, and at Expo Hall 1 somemore.. Halfway during the drama performance, some of the actors came in from the back of the hall, where I was serving, I saw Jun Jie acting like crying away very pitifully and I SMILED at him, in his blog, he said that he has successfully tried not to laugh away too... Haha.. But anyway, the drama team (or should I say the drama ministry as a whole) really did a excellent effort and the story of the iMing really touched my heart a lot. I really feel like having tears but I try not to, because I was standing at the back at Tunnel 5...

But... When it came to 2nd service at 7pm, I got to have the privilege to sit at the Echo zone because not many people turned out for the 2nd service unlike the 1st one.. After the drama show when all of us were worshiping, I really couldn't resist my tears anymore, and I really gave all my tears and heart and everything to our great saviour.. It was really too touching for me and really, I can say that Easter Day is even more meaningful than Christmas Day, and it really gave me the great impact of everything..

Saturday:

Went to snap some last moments of the Scanias on 75, 700, etc etc in the morning with Terence and I went for Ben's youth church service in evening around 5pm++. I can say it's a new experience for me, as I visited other churches and really see how they grow in their church... Although it's like only a few hundreds of people down there in a room, but I can really see the hyper active spirit that they have, and the way, the procedures during his service is kind of a bit different from ours..

After service, there's a shuttle bus there that will ferry all of us to Bishan MRT Station, where we had our dinner at S11 coffeeshop nearby and after that went to the playground next to it and fellowship.. Then his cell group friends all keep testing him all the bus knowledge and they really went to test in great details, such as where this particular service (for Eg: 143, his favourite service) going and it serve which area other than the 2 ending point interchange such as via Orchard, Thomson, Chinatown and Harbourfront area.. Thankfully my cell group friends never really go and test me to that extent... Haha.. Went home after that..

Sunday: (The most meaningful day I ever had..)

Not serving for Sunday, so no need to reach Expo as early as 7:30am.. Met XY and Isaac at Bedok Interchange for breakfast at the hawker centre next to it, Ben also joining us for breakfast down there as he came from Choa Chu Kang for Service 190 AMDEP side spotting.. After which, Ben went off to his church service at Jalan Besar, while XY and Isaac came along with me to Expo to enjoy the service at 10am..

After that I went off with XY and Isaac (not joining my cell group for the 2nd service at 12:30pm), and we went to Changi Airport T3 and T2 to walk walk and ride on the skytrain, before we took Service 36 down to Orchard area, to meet Ben and Bing He for lunch at Cineleisure, and chit chat down there for quite some time before Isaac and me went to visit XY's church at St Andrew's Cathedral and attend a really traditional way of service, with all the Hymms etc etc.. First timer and experience for both Isaac and me, and great experience indeed.. XY's parents also went with him for this service, and after which, his parents suggested us to go to the food court at Raffles City Shopping Centre as there are more varieties of foods down there. So all of us went there and really want to thank XY's parents for treating all of us for dinner.. As we were having our dinner, XY, Isaac and me, were sharing with one another about our church, how it operates (as every church has their different way of doing things), and a lot more things..

After dinner, the 3 of us went to Funan IT Mall as Isaac wanted to search for memory card adapter but the shop has closed its operation for the day in the end, end up going to Terence's shop (the place he went for his ITP) and find him to chit chat a while.. And after which, the 3 of us have no idea where to go next and keep saying the keyword of the day which is "anything", so we banned the word "anything" and must suggested a place, ANY place..

XY choose Esplanade, I choose Benjamin Shears Bridge (since it's really ANY places lo.. Haha, and I just randomly choose that place =D ), and left Isaac to choose, and he choose Sengkang, so we came to conclusion to choose from the 3 places:
In the end, end up going for 1st choice. Terence joining us at Central Mall bus stop and after 3 tries still no Tridents, Isaac took Service 12 B9 back home, and guess what? SBS9681E appeared on Service 80, somemore it's Isaac's favourite Trident... XY, Terence and me were laughing away... Lolx.. Waited until 9:30pm, still no sights of the AMDEP bendies on Service 190 as scheduled in the timesheet (see! told ya in the night time Service 190 don't follow timesheet one, they just suka-suka/anyhow off service from CCK Int and then downroute here and there as per instructed from CCK Int control room staff..)

So in the end also, XY took a Service 63 Scania K230UB back, while Terence took a box bendy on Service 190 back home, and for me took Service 54 Merz (Merz again? I am already getting sick and tired of the Sauna Merz on Service 24 especially the DM bodywork and I may just called it as "scrap metal" as how Charles called it for his Scania N113CRBs also..) to Far East Plaza down there and "celebrating life" on Service 190... (Why I called it "celebrating life", i will mention in my next post..)

Reached back home, was MSN-ing with Isaac and XY, and somehow, God just gave us the great plan, to do something really great to Him.. and both XY and me was discussing about the future plans that we may have.. It's really a wonderful time for me to fellowship with them, even as a interest group, instead of the usual school or working friends..

Hope all of you really enjoy your day well too, and have a wonderful week ahead.. Cheers and God bless! ^_^
