My prayers were answered!Yeah... With the presence and blessing from the God plus my prayers.. Quite a number of good things happening to me for the past 2 days..
1st one is for every Sunday because I have to set off from house very early (to board the 1st Service 966 bus which is 6:20am at the bus stop outside my block there) and last Sunday I got a 35 minutes scolding from my mum and cause me to be a bit late for reporting to Expo at 7:30am.
This morning, my mother never say anything much, only thing she said was ask me not to get baptized. Found out that I do not need to serve the ministry today, hence I went around Bedok and Tampines to snap some bus photos after breakfast at Bedok Int hawker centre..
2nd thing is for the Singtel Broadband Mobile that I am very keen to sign up for one as there is a promotion which they give me 6 months free subscription fees, and the fact that RP's wireless network is super CMI (Cannot Make It) makes me even feel more like wanting to sign up for it. Thanks to Shiyang who told me about it, and making me very tempted to get it, which I already got it NOW le... Yeah!!
3rd thing is for my bus spotting and photo taking today. Although the Nokia Music Mobile buses (SBS 2812L which is my favourite Volvo DM3500 Mk 4 SBST bus, SBS2696E, SBS2779A) are not out at Esplanade today because it's just only a audition for Baybeat 2008 instead of the actual event, nevertheless, there is still this SMRT Scania OAC (TIB565U) with the new Orange EDS (Electronic Display/Destination System). Finally that poor Scania (which has encountered at least 2-3 accidents/major breakdowns which caused the EDS to be changed) came out after a long time being on lay-up status. Sunlight wise, it's also a great one for me both in the morning at Bedok & Tampines, and afternoon at Esplanade. Sunlight direction wise, it's also pretty good.
Yesterday, attended the 1st CG meeting of the year, and it's a brand new start for all of us here in E447.. New appointed ICs for various positions, new goals to be achieved for Year 2008.. As majority of my CG friends are either having their NS or university, I somehow got a very matured atmosphere, and get myself motivated to set aside my goals and achieve it.. During services, we are also taught of the various things we should do this year, such as focus and forgiveness...
Moreover, making a choice to be serve God in the Usher ministry would also mean that there is a new set of responsibility that I should execute well. There is more things to learn in this ministry and I really hope that I can learn as much things as possible over there..
And 1 last thing before I end this entry is my daily quiet time with God... Yes.. I admitted that for the past few weeks (and probably months?), I have not been doing that everyday because of some factors such as distractions from family and surrounding.. But.. After what Jia Yun has shared with me yesterday in the cab about her past experiences and gave me some advices on it, I have more faith in myself that I will be able to spent my personal quiet time EVERYDAY..
